Testimonials

Before nerve decompression surgery, both my feet were numb and burning and tingling. My sleep was disturbed every night. During the day, I had very little balance and lost my balance all the time. The result was that I crashed into walls, fell with no warning and had to hold onto furniture to get from room to room. Once fallen, I could not get up by myself and had to depend on others to get me up. Climbing stairs was increasingly hard. If there was no railing, I could not do it at all. After surgery, the opposite occurred. I have balance, walk straight and do not need help. My sleep is restful and undisturbed. Once again, I have independence and mobility. My quality of life has improved greatly.

Twenty years ago my feet and toes started hurting. I've worked standing on concrete most of my working life. As years went by, and after many trips to different doctors, the pain kept getting worse. I'd almost resigned myself to sitting with my feet and legs elevated or using a wheel chair. A friend 500 Miles away read about this new surgery for peripheral neuropathy. She sent the information and I looked it up on the internet and found the closest doctor, which was Dr. Anderson. My first surgery was in June of 2004. 1 had immediate relief of pain in the calf of my leg. It took a little while for the burning, tingling and throbbing pain to get better in my toes and bottom of my feet. Dr. Anderson did my left foot in October 2004. It wasn't long before I realized my feet and toes were pain free. I am so thankful to Dr. Anderson for his help. His staff was just as friendly and nice as he is.

‘My experience with the doctor, his staff, the clinic and surgery center was extremely positive from the beginning to the end! Just 3 months after my surgery, I was able to resume physical activity including running up to twenty miles per week. I could not have accomplished this without the excellent care and attention I received from the doctor and his staff! Thank you!”

“I had terrible foot pain for over a year…I was measuring everything by how far I would have to walk or how long I would have to be on my feet. I could hardly stand long enough to cook dinner each evening….No one ever insisted I needed surgery and they did everything possible to relieve my pain. After months of trying everything, I decided I needed to do something as I was not able to live my normal life. I had the surgery for plantar fasciitis and it was the best thing I ever did! I can now do anything I want for as long as I want. My life is back to normal and I’m loving it!”

The highlight of my recovery from bunion surgery has been losing 22 lbs. in the year since my bunion surgery. The recovery was almost immediate and by having zero pain in my foot, I am able to be active and walk daily for both pleasure and exercise. I am so glad that I elected to have the surgery. It is so amazing how much better the body and mind feels when your feet don’t hurt!
